iMEGA ACTION AGAINST UIGEA SET DOWN FOR JULY 6
The interactive media & gaming association has announced that the US 3rd circuit court of appeals & the lawyers who representing the department of justice (US) is set to consider the challenge to the unlawful online casino gambling enforcement act 2006
The court has submitted a letter to the both parties regarding the matter and has listed on the merits, 06th July 2009 in Philadelphia, PA.
Though the e oral arguments on the particular subject have been scheduled to April 2009, the court has to wait till two parties submit their supplements on the particular date in order to make the decision.
Also the letter submitted by the court has clearly stated that the chances of keeping and oral arguments or go according to the supplementary of the parties will be decide by the court and the procedure will be advised to both parties and the scheduled date for the selected argument. So these parties have to collect points according to the two methods and the panel has the right to select the choice.
Also, the iMEGA has clearly pointed out that the judgment on the merits will remain to the court and the decision will be made according to the evidence presented by the two parties and the laws which are apply for the particular evidences.
So the two parties are required to submit their documentaries and evidence before the deadline and it will make it easy to make the decision, also makes you easy to avoid unnecessary disputes. Also they must keep in mind that the final decision is given based on these merits.
